FBR misses revenue collection target by Rs 175 billion?

ISLAMABAD – The Senate of Pakistan in the 286nd session will discusscalling attention notice of Senator Sherry Rehman about missing of revenuecollection target of Rs 175 billion by the Federal Board of Revenue.

Senate will resume its business on Monday after a two-day break.According to agenda shared by the Senate secretariat, Chairman, StandingCommittee on Communications, Senator Hidayat Ullah will present report ofcommittee on the matter of supplementary question, asked by Senator NaumanWazir Khattak regarding Sukkur-Multan (M-5) Motorway.The house will also discuss motions of Chairman, Standing Committee on Lawand Justice Senator Muhammad Javed Abbasi about report of the StandingCommittee on a point of public importance regarding procedure for puttingnames in the black list and legal value of the said list , presented to the House on 25th January, 2019.The Senate will also discuss calling attention notice of Senator SherryRehman about missing of revenue collection target of Rs 175 billion by theFederal Board of Revenue.The House will also discuss the motion of Minister of State for RevenueMuhammad Hammad Azhar about Money Bill, Finance Supplementary (Second Amendment) Bill, 201 9 , under Article 73 of the Constitution.The Senate was adjourned on Friday to meet again on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
