ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Indonesia have signed four MoUs for cooperation inenergy, trade and training and educaton.
The first agreement deals with the import of LNG and POL products fromIndonesia. Minister for energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari and IndonesianMinister for energy and mineral development signed the agreement.
The second agreement is about additional protocol on Preferential TradeAgreement for twenty new tariff lines. Minister for commerce and textileMuhammad Pervaiz Malik and his Indonesian counterpart signed the agreement.
The third MOU is related to trade facilitation. It was signed by SecretaryTrade Development Authority of Pakistan and DG for National ExportDevelopment of Indonesia.
The 4th MOU was signed between foreign service academy and centre fortraining and education of Indonesia in the field of training.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Indonesian President Joko Widodowitnessed the signing ceremony.
