ISLAMABAD – Indonesian President Joko Widodo inspected JF-17 fighter jet atNur Khan Airbase in Islamabad today (Saturday). He evinced keen interest inthe fighter jet.
On the occasion, the visiting dignitary was briefed about the operationalcapabilities of JF-17.
Indonesia may emerge as the potential buyer of the Pakistan indigenous madefighter Jet JF- 17. JF – 17 is the state of the art fighter jet whichPakistan has built with the assistance of China and now is produced in thePakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra.
Pakistan Air Force may be the only Air Force in the World which isindigenously producing the fighter jet.
Earlier reports have surfaced that some other countries including Myanmarand Nigeria may emerge as the potential customers of the JF – 17 fighterjets.
Later, President Mamnoon Hussain saw him off at the Nur Khan base.
