KARACHI: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that if Indian forces escalate the crisis, Pakistani forces “know well how to deal with them.”
Aman said the armed forces of Pakistan are vigilant at all times, ready to thwart any aggression and ‘not worried about Indian threats at all.’
Talking to reporters at the 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS), the air chief said “We are not worried about India at all, it is better if they show some restraint.”
He said Pakistan will have to rely on itself to meet the challenges. He said the PAF was fully prepared to give a befitting response to any Indian aggression, after Delhi started blaming Pakistan for attack at army camp in Uri. Aman made it clear that Pakistan will not succumb to Indian pressure tactics. “We are fully aware of the escalation in conflict arising from the Uri incident in Occupied Kashmir,” he said.
He added the armed forces are ready to defend the country in face of any misadventure by the enemy.
