On PM Khan directions, KP government launches new Police Force

ABBOTTABAD - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government following the orders of Prime Minister of Pakistan establishing the tourism police to facilitate tourists for their safe tour of Hazara region, said KP IG Dr. Muhammad Naeem here Sunday He expressed these views during his first visit of Abbottabad Circle after addressing the police darbaar.

He said that the tourism police would be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and international standard and would facilitate the tourists adding he said that government would provide different uniform, equipment and vehicles to the tourism police.

Dr. Naeem stated that government has prioritized tourism and focused Galliat, Kaghan and Naran areas of the in Hazara division.

He also called on the families of martyred police officials and heard grievances of retired policemen.

He visited the Dispute Resolve Committee (DRC) Abbottabad.

Earlier chairing a meeting of police officials, the IGP Dr. Naeem directed them to behave with the complainants with good manners adding he said that no one is his blue-eyed only performance would be analyzed.

He said that Hazara police is facing a shortage of manpower which would be addressed by utilizing the existing resources.

While talking about the police reforms Dr. Naeem said that we have formed a reforms committee following the Law and Justice Committee directives.
