KARACHI, (APP): Karachi Red Zone banned for protests, demonstrations

 

Sindh Home Department has imposed ban on protests, demonstrations, rallies and assembly of more than five (05) persons at the places of Karachi division which are declared as Red Zone for a period of 90 days with immediate effect, said a statement on Wednesday.

 

The areas declared as Red Zone are Sindh Governor's House, Chief Minister's House, Assembly Building, Sindh Secretariat (Outside places) with limits towards East as Hoshang Chowk to Fowara Chowk-Deen Muhammad Wafai Road- Sidco Centre- Sabir Baig Shaheed Road Corner Coast Guard Mess- Sir Ghulam Hussain Hidayatullah Road- PSO Petrol Pump; towards North PSO Petrol Pump- Shahrah-e-Liaquat- Fresco Chowk; towards West as Fresco Chowk- Muhammad Bin Qasim Road- DJ Chowrangi- Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road- Shaheen Complex - Khajoor Chowk- PIDC Chowk- 16-D Bungalow to Hoshang Chowk via Clear Mound Road.

 

Furthermore, Bilawal House (Outside Places) from East towards Each View Round about (Block -4) to Corner Bagh-e-Rustam via ATC Court Road; from North towards Corner Bagh-e-Rustam to Bilawal Chowrangi via Shah Ghazi Road; from West towards Bilawal Chowrangi to Ali Baba Chowrangi via Khayaban-e-Saadi and from South towards Ali Baba Chowrangi to Beach View Park.

 

The SHO of Police Station concerned has been authorized to register complaint under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr. P.C. against the violators.
