QUETTA: Baluchistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai said that Sibi Mela is a cultural heritage and it has a deep link with local economy. Sibi Mela is not only promotes love and unity among all the people but also play an important role to promote agriculture and other sectors of the country.
As per details, Muhammad Khan Achakzai was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sibi Mela here at Thursday. The historic mela will continue for 8 days with full cultural zeal.
Sibi Mela was inaugurated by Governor Baluchistan while the Chief Guest was presented with a salute by the students. A large number of provincial ministers, government high ups from bureaucracy and people from all walks of life were present on the occasion.
Flower Show, Cattle walk, horse riding and horse and cattle show were displayed at inauguration ceremony.
Speaking at this occasion, Muhammad Khan Achakzai said that annual Sibi Mela is an important source of sending message of peace and prosperity across the province.
Later, Baluchistan governor also visited agricultural and industrial exhibitions and monitor the stalls here in exhibition.
