KARACHI: The police again beat up the protesting teachers who had tried to march towards CM House on Tuesday.

The police baton-charged, tear-gassed and used water cannons to disperse the protesters. The area turned into a battlefield when the protesters resisted to the police.

Over 50 teachers were arrested, while three others injured. Later on the orders of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the arrested teachers were released.

They said that they should be given jobs as they have passed NTS test.

The arrested teachers have been shifted to police stations.
