MOSCOW – On the final leg of his tour to regional countries, ForeignMinister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held discussions with his Russian counterpartSergey Lavrov in Moscow on Wednesday.
They discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and regionalsituation especially progress on Afghan peace and reconciliation process.
They also focused on converting the existing bilateral multidimensionalrelations into strategic partnership.
Earlier, the Foreign Minister visited Afghanistan, Iran and China where hediscussed with his counterparts and other high ranking officials’ issuespertaining to regional peace and stability in the context of Afghan peaceprocess.

During these meetings, Shah Mahmood Qureshi renewed Pakistan’s commitmentto assist in furthering peace in Afghanistan and the region.
