ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif has offered $2 billion in plea bargain,PTI leader Faisal Vawda has claimed.
Nawaz Sharif has offered money through different sources, he furtherrevealed. Earlier media reports had surfaced that Nawaz Sharif was offeringplea bargain either through Saudi Arabia or Turkey.
Earlier The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had taken former primeminister Nawaz Sharif into custody shortly after the accountability courtconvicted him in Al Azizia reference case here on Monday.
The Accountability Court on Monday convicted former prime minister andsentenced to seven years in prison in Al Azizia case while the former PMhas been acquitted in Flagship corruption reference.
The PML-N Quaid was shifted to Kot Lakhpat jail after the former premierprayed in the court not to shift him to Adiala jail.
