ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has successfully developed the MURTAJIZ MP-300, anadvanced loitering munition system that significantly enhances thecountry’s precision strike capabilities. The new platform represents amajor milestone in indigenous defence production.
The MURTAJIZ MP-300 is a catapult-launched flying-wing drone with a maximumtake-off weight of 100 kilograms. It has been designed specifically forlocating and engaging high-value enemy targets with minimum collateraldamage.
Military officials described the system as highly versatile, offering bothremote operator control and full autonomous operation modes. This dualcapability allows flexible deployment across various operational scenarios.
The loitering munition can remain airborne for extended periods, providingreal-time battlefield intelligence before executing precision strikes. Itsadvanced guidance package ensures accurate terminal engagement even incontested environments.
Defence analysts view the MURTAJIZ MP-300 as a force multiplier for groundforces, particularly in counter-terrorism and conventional operations alongborders. The system reduces risk to personnel while maintaining tacticalsuperiority.
