New developments reported over the Pervaiz Musharraf high treason case

LAHORE – New developments reported over the former President PervaizMusharraf high treason case, media report has revealed.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday fixed former president PervezMusharraf’s plea for hearing against the special court reserved verdict inthe high treason case.

The court removed its objections against a plea filed by Musharraf seekingthe court’s intervention in stopping the special court from announcing itsreserved verdict in the high treason case.

LHC’s Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi accepted the petition and soughtsummary from the Ministry of Interior regarding the formation of specialcourt and attorney general’s help in the high treason case tomorrow.
