KABUL – Over 100 Afghan Taliban killed, claims Afghanistan Military. TheAfghan Special Forces claims least 100 Taliban militants were killed andarrested 88 others during the operations in northern Baghlan province.
The military sources said Friday the Special Forces conducted theoperations in Pul-e Khumri and Dahan-e Ghori districts of Baghlan province,Khaama Press has reported.
The sources further added that the Special Forces also destroyed a cache ofweapons during the operations.
The Ministry of Defense on Thursday announced that the Afghan forcesrecaptured Dahan-e Ghori district from Taliban militants after almost threeyears.

According to a statement released by Ministry of Defense, the AfghanNational Defense and Security Forces captured the district late onWednesday night.
The statement further added that the security forces inflicted heavycasualties on Taliban militants during the operation to capture thedistrict.
