In a swift and decisive action, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) inPeshawar successfully apprehended four suspected Afghan facilitators linkedto the banned extremist group, Daesh.
This operation took place in the Budh Bir area of the city, bringing asense of relief and enhanced security to the local community.
Official sources have revealed that these detained individuals wereactively involved in aiding and abetting Daesh’s nefarious activities,primarily focused on target killings and acts of sabotage that posed asignificant threat to the peace and stability of the region.
While the identities of the arrested individuals remain undisclosed, CTDofficials have confirmed their capture.
Notably, these four alleged facilitators were not unfamiliar to theauthorities, as they had been evading the law while facing charges in tenseparate cases.
