PARIS – Yet another diplomatic victory for Pakistan against India inleading European capital France over Occupied Kashmir crisis.
French Parliament has taken up the escalating conflict of occupied Kashmirfor the first time during a conference “Kashmir – the oldest conflict ofthe World”.
According to details, the issue was highlighted by President ofPakistan-France Friendship Group in the French National Assembly Mr. JeanBernard Sempastous.
The conference was attended by the members of the French parliament,scholars, researchers, human rights activists and French and Pakistanimedia in large numbers.
Jean Bernard Sempastous said, “The conflict in Kashmir between Pakistan andIndia was 70 years old and had caused thousands of deaths. There was littleknowledge about the Kashmir conflict in France. After a new historicalturning point in August, the reflection on this old international conflictdeserved France’s full attention.”
He demanded the international community to play role for an earlyresolution of the Kashmir dispute and urged both Pakistan and India toexercise maximum restraint in this regard.
