NEW YORK – US President Donald Trump mocks Indian TV Channel journalistduring a press conference along with PM Modi leaving him red faced. Howeverthe interesting thing is that the Indian TV Channel considered it a praiseinstead of sarcastic reply.
It was a moment of embarrassment for “India Today”, when it comprehendedPresident Donald Trump’s sarcastic remarks as praise.
During a conversation between US President Trump and Indian Prime MinisterModi, India Today’s reporter asked a question regarding Pakistan sponsoredterrorism in India, to which Trump replied sarcastically,
“I wish I had a reporter like you. You are doing better than anyone else,”turning to Modi he asked, “where do you find these reporters?”

Moments later India Today posted a promotional video on its official socialmedia accounts with “Trump Praises India Today” as caption.
After comments by people who made them realize that it was indeed asarcastic remark, they deleted the video from all their accounts.
