Pakistan top officials held important session with P – 5 Ambassadors over Indian military propaganda

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan top officials held important session with P – 5Ambassadors over Indian propaganda against Islamabad.

The Acting Foreign Secretary, Moazzam Ahmad Khan briefed Ambassadors of theP-5 Missions in Islamabad today about the recent, intensified anti-Pakistanpropaganda emanating from India, Foreign Office in a statement said.

He stressed upon the aggressive, belligerent statements emanating fromIndia, especially the Indian military, including, baseless, unsubstantiatedallegations of “terrorist camps.”

Senior Indian military commanders have been giving provocative statementsabout presence of so called “terrorists planning to infiltrate India” andactivation of “terrorist camps” in Mansehra, Rawalakot and Muzaffarabad inAJK. Similar venomous rhetoric against Pakistan continues on Indian media.

These Indian statements signify their desperate attempts to divertattention of the International community from the humanitarian nightmare inIoJ&K where Indian atrocities, including curfew and communications blockadecontinue for more than 50 days. Indian statements only vitiate an alreadytense environment and are a threat to regional peace and stability.

Pakistan does not wish confrontation but will give a befitting response incase of any misadventure or false flag activity.

Pakistan strongly rejects these baseless, unfounded allegations which arebeing used to build the ground to preemptively justify any Indianmisadventure/ false flag operation by Indian armed forces along the LOC orelsewhere.
