WASHINGTON – A U.S. Senator has said that the U.S. troops withdrawal fromAfghanistan would lead to ‘another 9/11’.
Speaking to chief intelligence correspondent of Fox News Catherine Herridgeon Saturday, Senator Lindsey Graham said the United States cannot‘outsource’ the U.S. national security to Taliban.
Senator Graham further added “If we left tomorrow, the Taliban cannot betrusted to take care of ISIS and Al Qaeda.”
He also added “They don’t have the capability. So when you ask ourintelligence community…what would happen to America if we withdrew all ofour forces. They tell us without any hesitation it would lead to another9/11 in a matter of time.”
In response to a question regarding the timeframe for such a situation,Senator Graham said it would be “years not decades.”

This comes as the U.S. and Taliban representatives are engaged incomprehensive peace talks in Qatari capital of Doha to find a politicalsolution to end the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan.
