ISLAMABAD – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Chief ExecutiveOfficer (CEO) Musharraf Rasool Cyan is likely to be sacked.
His appointment has been termed as an “irregular favour” by the auditorgeneral of Pakistan (AGP), according to a local medialink outlet.
The AGP also recommended the immediate sacking of CEO Cyan.
The AGP office also reportedly recommended that the salary received by theCEO should be recovered and an investigation must be launched into thematter to probe whether the officer’s appointment was facilitated bythen-advisor to prime minister Sardar Mehtab Abbasi.
An audit report had said, “The appointment of Cyan was made totally inviolation of guidelines.”
