PCB breaks silence over allegations leveled against opener Imam ul Huq

LAHORE – The Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday refused to commenton a scandal surrounding cricketer Imam-ul-Haq terming it a personal issue.

Imam-ul-Haq has been accused of manipulating and cheating on multiple women.

The conversation began on Wednesday evening when a Twitter user postedseveral screenshots of alleged Whatsapp and Instagram conversations betweenImam and several other girls.

“So apparently Mr. @ImamUlHaq12 was dating 7 to 8 (that we know of) womenand kept using them and manipulating them. He kept telling them the wholetime how he’s single,” said the Twitter user, who wished not to be named,posting screenshots of the alleged conversations between the Imam and someof the women.

She claimed that Imam was dating at least three girls at the same timeduring Pakistan’s tour of South Africa in January and February this year.

“None of the 3 girls knew about each other,” she said.

Several other girls on social media have since raised similar allegationsagainst the cricketer. One of the girls, F*, tweeted pictures and videoswith the Pakistan opener claimed she met Imam multiple times in SouthAfrica. “Far too many women have been manipulated and taken advantage of.This needs to come to an end,” said F*.
