ISLAMABAD – The official announcement is yet to arrive and PTI’s officialwebsite has already crashed.

According to preliminary and unofficial results, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaafhas swept the 2018 Elections by winning the majority of seats in theNational Assembly of Pakistan. Undeniably, Imran Khan will become the PrimeMinister of Pakistan.

Pakistanis, expats, and basically everyone interested in the elections aresearching for Imran Khan and PTI. Consequently, there is a massive amountof traffic directed towards the official website of the leading politicalparty.

As of now, PTI’s official website Insaf.pk is down. According toSimilarWeb, it was raking in almost 1M visitors a month and we believe,yesterday was the day, when its traffic peaked with hundreds of thousandsof visitors in a single day.

The Insaf website was hosting an e-commerce store for buying merchandise,an official manifesto, and all the typical things a political party wouldhave had hosted.

The news of PTI taking lead has been making rounds all around the worldthanks to unofficial results pouring in since yesterday evening. Usersflocked to the official site of PTI in bulk as a result, causing thewebsite’s servers to crash and go offline.
