BHUBANESWAR: Two bombs were hurled at the state headquarters of BJP, nearlyan hour after Prime Minister Narendra Modi left the state capital afteraddressing a public meeting in Cuttacklink> on Saturday evening.The miscreants were identified as Pinaki Mohantylink> and Biswajit Mallik. Pankiwas earlier arrested for BJP’s Odisha officelink> barging into thechamber of the party state president Basant Panda with a gun that was laterfound to be a toy.

City DCP Anup Sahu said it was a cracker. “Prima facie, it appeared thatthey had committed it to draw attention. We are verifying the antecedentsof the duo. There was no damage to property. No one was injured in theincident,” he told TOI.
