Federal Finance Minister Muftah Ismail has said there is no chance of animmediate increase in the prices of petroleum products.
People needn’t get fuel tanks filled, he said while speaking during aprivate TV channel programme Monday.
The finance minister said the government has no plan to change any law thatcould affect Pakistan’s ties with the IMF.
So far, there is no plan to undo the SBP autonomy bill, he added.

The finance minister told the media yesterday that the InternationalMonetary Fund (IMF) has agreed to a one-year extension and the finalagreement will be signed in May.
