BEIJING – The three-day Second Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for InternationalCooperation has started in Beijing, the Radio Pakistan reported.
In his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Forum, ChinesePresident Xi Jinping said that joint building of the Belt and Road hasopened up new space for the world’s economic growth.
He said that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has also created a newplatform to boost international trade and investment, expand new practicesto optimize global economic governance and make new contributions toimproving the well-being of people of all countries.
Xi Jinping said that China will negotiate and sign high-standard free tradeagreements with more countries.

He said China will also work with other parties to promote a coalition ofsustainable cities and an international coalition for green developmentunder the BRI.
Xi said that China will allow foreign investors to operate businesses inmore sectors with controlling or full stake.
