BEIJING – Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang has brushed aside thepropaganda regarding the CPEC Project in Lahore.
He had said that Lahore Orange Line Train was a gift from the Chinesegovernment to the people of Pakistan, rejecting the propaganda attached tothe development project.
The Chinese Prime Minister expressed the views while talking to PunjabChief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in a ceremony at Chinese city,Zhengzhou.
Li Keqiang expressed that Pakistani President Mamnnon Hussain and Chinesepresident both were present at the pact signing ceremony in May 2014regarding the Orange Line Metro Train Project.
“China would continue to extend its full cooperation to Pakistan intransport as well as all sectors of progress and development,” declared LiKeqiang.
During the same pact signing ceremony, the Chief Minister Punjab, ShehbazSharif had said that people of Pakistan were grateful to the Chinesegovernment and people for their historic cooperation and the Pakistanigovernment was utilizing every penny of Chinese investment as a sacredtrust.
The clarification came after a local television channel in Pakistanreported that the Chinese government was not happy with the Orange LineMetro Train project, being a part of the CPEC.
