QUETTA – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said on Saturday its CyberCrime Unit has arrested two persons involved in blackmailing and extortion.
Additional Director FIA Cyber Crime Zone Balochistan confirmed that onthe complaint of a victim of extortion and harassment, CCRC Quettaconstituted a raiding team consisting of IP Masood Ahmed, ASI Bebargand ASI M.Humayoun.The raiding team took action in Faisalabad and apprehended the accusednominated in the FIR namely Sufyan Maqsood and Ali Hassnain.
“Accused person lured the complainant by portraying himself as a girland got access to obscene content related to the complainant.
Furthermore, on pretext of obscene videos the accused person wasdemanding money from him,” he further said adding that accused personextorted Rs 94,000 from complainant which were deposited bycomplainant in bank accounts.
