*KARACHI: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Tuesday completely opened theairspace of Pakistan and resumed flight operations at airports of Sialkot,Bhawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Dera Ghazi Khan.*
According to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), the airspace of Pakistan will beentirely operational from now onwards after a month of frequent closures.
A spokesperson of the Pakistan International Airline said the schedule fordesignated flights from the aforementioned airports has been issued.
Pakistan’s airspace was closed and flight operations were suspended in theend February, due to escalation of tensions with neighboring India, as twowarplanes of India were downed by Pakistan Air Force after their intrusioninto the country’s airspace.
