*DUBAI – Former president Pervez Musharraf has said that Indian PrimeMinister Narendra Modi is befooling his nation as elections are won inIndia by misleading the nation.*
In a statement on Tuesday, he said that Indians are in habit of carryingout such activity before the elections. “The Congress is emerging and SoniaGandhi is gaining popularity. The BJP is in fear of losing the electionsand the Pulwama stunt has been used for the same purpose,” he maintained.
The former president said that the elections cannot be won this way.“Neither India can damage us on the Line of Control (LOC) and nor we candamage him on the LOC,” he observed.
He said that the issues will not be resolved unless Pakistan gives atit-for-tat reply. “India defames Pakistan after carrying out such attackitself,” he added.

Pervez Musharraf said that Pakistan should use its friends and expose theIndian designs. “India is more influential than us and it succeeds bywaging propaganda against us.”
He said that in 2002, he had ordered to attack in response to Indian attackand as a result, India fled and did not attack Pakistan.
