ISLAMABAD – The Acting Foreign Secretary today summoned the Indian ActingHigh Commissioner and strongly condemned the Indian violation of Pakistan’ssovereignty and territorial integrity.
Eight Indian aircrafts were effectively intercepted by Pakistani Air ForceJets at approximately 0254 hours today and forced to scuttle back, whilerandomly releasing their ordinance which landed in an uninhabited remotearea.
Baseless, reprehensible Indian claims of targeting a large terrorist campand resultant causalities to placate Indian domestic audience andelectioneering were strongly rebutted.
The Acting Foreign Secretary categorically stated that Indian aggressionwas a threat to regional peace and stability and would get a befittingresponse by Pakistan at a time and place of its choosing.
The Acting Foreign Secretary also condemned the baseless Indian allegationsagainst Pakistan’s involvement in the recent attack in Indian occupiedJammu and Kashmir and reiterated Pakistan’s principled position ofcontinuing support to the peaceful political struggle of the Kashmiripeople for the realization of the right to self-determination as enshrinedin the UN Security Council resolutions.
