KABUL – A suicide explosion targeted a police vehicle in Kandahar provinceon Friday evening, Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Abdul Raziq confirmed.

Raziq said the explosion happened in Aino Mina Township in PD11 of KandaharCity.

He said one police force member was killed and three policemen and acivilian were wounded in the explosion.

He told TOLOnews that the explosion was as a result of suicide attack.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
