In terms of quarterly adjustment, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) made electricity more expensive for K-Electric consumers on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NEPRA has issued a notification of additional Rs12.68 per unit in the head of quarterly adjustment for the K-Electric consumers.
On Monday, NEPRA approved K-Electric's fourth-quarter adjustment for FY 2021-22. An increase of Rs14.53 per unit was requested for the fourth quarter adjustment.
The NEPRA held a hearing on the quarterly adjustment on August 31 and after examining the data, a decision regarding the quarterly adjustment has been issued.
