US government makes a big announcement for Pakistani students

ISLAMABAD - Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, Lisa K. Heller, said on Sunday that the US is determined to strengthen its bilateral ties with Pakistan.

According to Heller, the Trump administration will increase its support for educational opportunities and student exchange programs for Pakistani students of different backgrounds.

More than 7,900 Pakistani students are currently enrolled in different universities in the US and the number of students is increasing every year.

As per the official statement:

The US government is committed to support educational opportunities and academic exchanges for Pakistani students from all backgrounds.

The US embassy, in collaboration with Education USA, organized International Education Week (IEW) from November 18th to 22nd. The purpose of the event was to encourage Pakistani youngsters to study in the US. Education USA also provides free assistance and guidance to students applying to US universities.
