PTI government launches an unprecedented step for promotion of sports
PESHAWAR - In an effort to encourage sports tendency among youth, the provincial government has announced monthly stipend for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s emerging players who clinched medals in recently held National Games.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Atif Khan.
Talking to APP, an official sources said the gold medallists of recently held National Games will be given 20,000 rupees per month each while silver medallists will get 15,000 rupees each and those who had secured bronze medals will be entitled to get 10, 000 rupees
The source said the provincial government has taken several steps to promote health activities among youth.
