BRAZIL: COAS, who is on a three-day official visit to
Brazil, met with Brazilian Defence Minister
Aldo Rebelo in Brasilia.
The army chief told the Brazilian defence minister that Pakistan wants to strengthen cooperation with the South American country.
During the meeting, the COAS also invited the Brazilian Defence Minister for a visit to Pakistan.
Both sides discussed regional security and emerging challenges. Matters of mutual professional interest, military-to-military relations and training exchanges were also discussed.

Raheel Sharif also met Brazilian Chief of Joint Staff General
Jose Carlos De Nardi in
Brazil.
The Army Chief was presented a Guard of Honor and 19 guns salute at
Brazil Army Headquarters.
After concluding his scheduled visit to
Brazil, the Army Chief will also visit
Ivory Coast for a day to meet Pakistani soldiers stationed for a United Nations (UN) mission.
