ISLAMABAD:Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq says the government has successfully defeated terrorism and restored peace in Pakistan with the support of civil and military institutions and people.
He was addressing an event held in Pakistan High Commission London in connection Pakistan Day celebrations.
He said the parliament has taken crucial steps and enacted 131 bills, the highest number during five year since 1985.
Ayaz Sadiq said China Pakistan Economic Corridor and other investments are pouring in Pakistan, which will open up a new era of progress and development. APP/AFP
