Imran Khan apologises from media over PTI workers misbehaviour

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers on Monday misbehaved with media workers during an internal conflict here at a rally.

During PTI rally here the PTI workers clashed and allegedly manhandled media men covering the rally.

Shortly after the incident, PTI Chairman Imran Khan apologized for the alleged torture on media persons by PTI activists, claiming strict action would be taken against those who subjected media men to violence.

Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) President Ali Raza Alvi condemned the PTI workers' behaviour with the media and stressed that media workers would not tolerate it any further and raise the issue with the authorities concerned besides staging protest demonstrations.
