PM Abbasi lauds operational capabilities of Pak Navy

KARACHI:  Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has on Sunday witnessed the exercise of Pakistan Navy along with Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi.

In a statement, Pak Navy spokesman said that exercises related to warships and fleet reviews were conducted in North Arabia Sea to show the operational capabilities of Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy’s aeroplanes and helicopters also flew past the site of exercise, the statement said.

The exercises focused on manpower, transfer of equipment from one ship to another, rocket and depth charge firing.

Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister said that Pakistan Navy is fully resolved to secure sealanes of the country including Gwadar Port and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

He also lauded the operation preparedness of the force and professional capabilities of its personnel.
