ISLAMABAD: India has barred wife and mother of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, who will arrive on Monday to meet the former Indian Navy Officer, from talking to media, ARY News reported.
The Emirates flight EK612 will land at Benazir International Airport at 10:50am in Islamabad and leave the same day. Indian deputy high commissioner will be the accompanying them here.
Indian foreign office has proscribed them to talk to media and neither India let its local media accompany them despite Pakistan’s offer to give visas to media as well.
Back in November, Pakistan offered India a meeting between Jadhav and his wife on humanitarian grounds but India, in its reply asked Pakistan to allow Jadhav’s mother to travel with his wife and a diplomat should accompany the two during the meeting.
