JAKARTA – Pakistani player Nargis has made history in the Asian Games 2018 as she won the first ever medal in the Karate competition.

Nargis on Saturday has won first ever medal in Karate competition at an ongoing Asian Games 2018. ------------------------------

According to details, Nargis defeated Nepal’s Rita Karki in women’s +68kg Karate tournament and won bronze medal. ------------------------------

This is the second medal for Pakistan in Asian Games 2018.

Earlier, Pakistan notched up thumping 16-0 win over Kazakhstan in their third match of the Asian Games Hockey competition on Friday at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia.

After winning its opening two matches with identical 10-0 margin, the green shirts had an even bigger victory against little known Kazakhstan.
