ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the schedule of Pakistan home series against West Indies, to be played at the neutral venue of United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The series comprises of three T20 Internationals, three One Day Internationals and as many test matches, commencing from September 23, with the T20 Series, said a press release issued by PCB.
The board will host its first ever Day Night Test match from October 13-17, to be played with the pink ball under lights at the Dubai Cricket Stadium.
West Indies will also play a three-day first class game under lights in Sharjah against the PCB Patrons XI as part of the preparation for the Day Night Test Match.
The West Indies - Pakistan Series features the start of an exciting new partnership between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board with a number of new initiatives being undertaken by the ADSC in promoting the game in Abu Dhabi. The new partnership will seek to promote Pakistan's long standing relationship with the Abu Dhabi Cricket Club which has been hosting PCB matches since 2006.
