ISLAMABAD – Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement MNA Syed Ali Raza Abidi waskilled in a targeted attack in Karachi on Tuesday.
According to SSP South, the attack took place outside his residence atKhayaban-e-Ghazi where unknown gunmen opened fire on Abidi’s vehicle andsped away.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds duringtreatment.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Murad AliShah have taken notice of the shooting and directed police chief to submita report. They expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic incident andprayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace andgrant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family members to bear thisirreparable loss.
