ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with theMinistry of Commerce and the Board of Investment (BoI) is hosting an EnvoysConference on Economic Diplomacy from December 27 to 28 in Islamabad.
The conference, which involves participation by Pakistan’s ambassadors andheads of missions from select capitals, representatives of public andprivate sectors, and government institutions, will deliberate ways andmeans to enhance Foreign Direct Investment and trade, particularly exports,a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here on Mondaysaid.
In addition to Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the eventwill be attended inter alia by Minister for Finance, Revenue and EconomicAffairs Asad Umer; Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Textiles,Industry and Production, and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood; Advisor to thePrime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity Dr Ishrat Hussain andBoI Chairman Haroon Sharif.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to grace the concluding session onDecember 28.
