ISLAMABAD – Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. EmbassyIslamabad, Lisa K. Heller, said on Sunday that the US is determined tostrengthen its bilateral ties with Pakistan.
According to Heller, the Trump administration will increase its support foreducational opportunities and student exchange programs for Pakistanistudents of different backgrounds.
More than 7,900 Pakistani students are currently enrolled in differentuniversities in the US and the number of students is increasing every year.
As per the official statement:
The US government is committed to support educational opportunities andacademic exchanges for Pakistani students from all backgrounds.
The US embassy, in collaboration with Education USA, organizedInternational Education Week (IEW) from November 18th to 22nd. The purposeof the event was to encourage Pakistani youngsters to study in the US.Education USA also provides free assistance and guidance to studentsapplying to US universities.
