TEHRAN – Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said the UnitedStates is targeting the Middle East because it fears Islamic awakening inthe region.
Addressing the international Islamic conference in Tehran, he said worldpowers are afraid of the awakening of the Islamic nations.
He urged the leader of Islamic countries to abstain from supporting thewestern powers in their crimes against Muslims in Palestine and othercountries.
