ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced extending an invitation to Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the opening of Kartarpura border, scheduled for November 28.
On his twitter account, Qureshi further tweeted about inviting Indian Punjab chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu, former Indian cricketer, to attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
During National Assembly session on last Friday, the foreign minister had termed the opening of Kartarpura corridor, a step to create goodwill between Pakistan and India.
