In another setback, Important PTI Leader join s rival party

In Karachi, it seems that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has deliveredanother unexpected twist to the recently formed alliance. Former PTI MPAMuhammad Aslam Abro officially declared his affiliation with the PPP onWednesday.

Aslam Abro had previously been expelled from PTI due to a breach of partydiscipline in 2021 when he voted against the party’s candidates for Senateseats from Sindh. This move comes shortly after Ali Gohar Khan Mehr, aformer leader of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), also joined the PPP.

Additionally, Ali Nawaz Khan Mehr, Raja Khan Mehr, and Ali Anwar Khan Mehrmet with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House after aligningwith the PPP. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended a warm welcome to these newmembers.

The transition of Ali Gohar Khan Mehr into the PPP was further noted as hementioned meeting former President Asif Ali Zardari. Furthermore, it hasbeen revealed that the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F) is likely toestablish an electoral alliance with the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) inSindh in preparation for the upcoming general elections.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chairman of JUI-F, held discussions with GDAleadership in Karachi regarding the country’s political landscape. Sourcesindicate that the political leaders discussed the formation of an electoralalliance to contest elections against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) inSindh.
