In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the unprovoked killing of acivilian by Indian paramilitary forces in Shopian evoked strong reactionsfrom local political parties.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the martyred civilian was identified asa labourer, Shahid Ahmad.
The Valley has in the recent past witnessed a spate of killings of innocentcivilians. Over 20 Kashmiris have lost their lives, in October, so far.
