*ISLAMABAD – Three National Directorate of Security members were killed ina suicide attack on an NDS forces’ convoy in Jalalabad, a spokesman for theprovincial governor, Attaullah Khogyani confirmed.*
The attack took place at approximately 2 pm in Jalalabad’s PD4 area after asuicide bomber detonated his explosives close to a convoy of the NDS,Khogyani said.
“The target of the bomber was an NDS group known as the “02 Unit,” and thevictims have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment,” according tothe spokesperson, who specified that “one child was among the dead, and sixother children are among the wounded.”
