Israeli troops fear three female Palestinians who defend Al Aqsa Mosque holy site

JERUSALEM – An Israeli court has ruled that three Palestinian femaleactivists are no longer allowed to stay in the vicinity of a gate of theal-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied Old City of East Jerusalem al-Quds.

The court in Jerusalem al-Quds issued a verdict at the request of theIsraeli police, preventing Palestinian activists Hinadi al-Halawani, AidaSidawi and Madlin Issa from approaching the complex’s al-Silsila (Chain)Gate not closer than 200 meters for the next 60 days.

The verdict came after the three activists were protesting on a daily basisat the gate against an earlier court ruling, which had prevented them fromentering the al-Aqsa Mosque for several months.

The Palestinian women were banned from entering the compound for their rolein defending the holy site against Israeli settlers’ almost regularviolations, Press TV has reported.
