*ISLAMABAD – The federal government has appointed the new deputy governorof state bank of Pakistan.*

*As per the media report, Jameel Ahmad has been posted on the post ofDeputy Governor of State Bank Pakistan.*

A notification issued by the Finance Ministry declared Jameel in charge ofthe Deputy Governor’s post of the State Bank.

According to details, Jameel Ahmad, who had been previously serving asexecutive director of the State Bank, will now perform his duties as deputygovernor for a period of three years.

In his career, Jameel Ahmad’s had been associated with various sectors ofthe State Bank which include operations department, banking policy andregulation department, and development finance.

Jameel Ahmed is a seasoned banker with more than 26 years of bankingexperience.
